Só que as professoras tinham um truque na manga!… ou melhor…na garrafa!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p align="justify"&gt;Eis o que se passou:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h5&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Material e reagentes:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h5&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Um ovo cozido descascado&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Uma garrafa de gargalo pequeno, como por exemplo um frasco de Ketchup, um biberão ou um jarro de água&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Algodão&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Fósforo&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Pinça metálica&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Álcool&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Procedimento&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Colocar o algodão em chama com a ajuda da pinça metálica na garrafa.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Assim que o algodão se apagar, colocar nas bordas o ovo cozido descascado.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Esperar que o ovo entre no balão.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Discussão das observações:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p align="justify"&gt;Mesmo sendo o ovo ligeiramente mais largo do que a abertura da garrafa, o ovo é introduzido sem se esmagar. Porquê? Como explicas o que aconteceu?&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Explicação:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;O ovo é sugado para o interior da garrafa.&lt;b&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p align="justify"&gt;O algodão em chama consome o oxigénio dentro da garrafa. Assim, a pressão do ar no frasco diminui, fazendo com que a pressão no exterior (maior) empurre o ovo para dentro. O ovo vai ser forçado a entrar na garrafa para diminuir a diferença entre a pressão no exterior e no interior. Como? É fácil! Só precisaram de:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Material:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Garrafão de plástico de 5 litros&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Tubo de borracha&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Tina de vidro&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Caneta de acetato&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Vasilha com escala graduada (medidor de líquidos)&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  &lt;p&gt;E procederam da seguinte forma:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Procedimento:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;ol&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Com a ajuda de um medidor de líquidos, despejaram 500ml de água para dentro do garrafão,&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Marcaram exteriormente o nível com o marcador.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Foram adicionando o mesmo volume de água até encher o garrafão, marcando a linha dos 1000ml, 1500 ml…&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Encheram aproximadamente metade da tina com água.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Colocaram a rolha no garrafão e colocaram o gargalo na tina.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Sempre com o gargalo mergulhado na tina, retiraram a rolha ao garrafão e introduziram o tubo de borracha no interior do garrafão.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;E agora…chegou a hora da verdade… O 1º voluntário inspirou profundamente, enchendo o mais possível os pulmões de ar. Colocou a boca na extremidade do tubo e expirou lentamente todo o ar possível.&lt;/li&gt;    &lt;li&gt;Rapidamente, tapou a extremidade do tubo com o dedo. Todas as experiências se relacionam com os conteúdos programáticos do 4º ano. Sem este trabalho de registo fotográfico (Educadora Goretti Pinto) e informático (Educadora Graça Rocha) não teria sido possível, em tempo útil, reunir evidências do trabalho realizado (visita o site &lt;a href="http://jardimdemonserrate.blogspot.com/"&gt;http://jardimdemonserrate.blogspot.com/&lt;/a&gt;). &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Este trabalho contribuiu significativamente para melhorar os mecanismos de comunicação interna do Agrupamento.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;No decorrer do 3º período os trabalhos do Clube de Ciência desenvolver-se-ão na escola EB1 de Monserrate. No momento em que escrevemos este artigo, as expectativas são as melhores.
